Last week, I spoke about content calendars at the WordPress RI Meetup. We had a great turnout and I enjoyed sharing information with other WordPress enthusiasts. The event took place at Red DWG Library in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and let me tell you: if you haven’t been to this coworking space yet, you need to check it out. It’s a fabulous space for coworking, meetings, and more. The decor and art alone is worth the trip! I was so taken by the space that I reached out to the owners to come back for a tour, and lo and behold! I ended up booking another speaking engagement there this week. It’s Women’s Entrepreneurial Week at Red DWG Library, and they’ve got a ton of great events planned. (Also, coworking is free all week for women! Love it! )
Come by Women’s Entrepreneurial Week (or “W.E. Week”) at RDL!
RDL describes Women’s Entrepreneurial Week (or “W.E. Week”) as a weeklong event to “Collaborate, Discover, Build, Learn.” They’ll have presentations, seminars, networking, and Happy Hours with like-minded women all week. Whether you like your networking with a side of smoothies or mimosas, there is an event for you this week.
I know, right? Sign. Me. Up.
I am honored to be part of a panel called “Reinvent Work Through Technology” on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at 4:30pm. The panel also features Maeve Donohue of Nami Studios and Theresa Moore of T-Time Productions, and we will be discussing technology’s role in creating job and income growth for women. It’s conveniently scheduled right before Women’s Entrepreneurs’ Night from 5:30-8:30pm, so you can come for the panel and stay for tapas and drinks and live painting by a local artist. You can register here for the panel, or check out other events during the week. Hope to see you there!
